  5. I used to be really huge on battery life about 8years ago when I was studying Software Engineering because I had to work on my codes with or without an access to a power outlet so it was really important to me that I wouldn’t buyba laptop with at least 7 to 8hours battery life. Now,since I switched careers,It hasn’t crossed my mind in the last two times that I purchased a laptop. So this is a good reminder for me as I am looking to purchase a lappy soon. I actually have never used an LG laptop and I think I have something I like with it. And the battery life is just perfect. Your list of laptops with the best battery life was a good reminder.

  6. Great tips! Yes, forgetting screen size, processing power or number of ports, WiFi, Bluetooth, a webcam, now. The first thing every laptop shopper should think about in a new purchase is battery life. After all, I don’t want my PC shutting down in the middle of a video chatting with colleagues or clients or coffee shop brainstorming session. I can actually say this post really give my understanding and helpful tips on choosing my next laptop to buy as I had consider to go for Asus NovaGo, with battery life performance up to  15 hours, which is great and some amazing features. Now, I don’t need to spend my days chained to an outlet or worrying that my laptop will run out of juice when you need it most. I will just go for Asus NovaGo.  Laptop with a long battery life is not an option, it’s a must!

  7. Thanks for that review. That Dell XPS 13 looks pretty cool as a travelling laptop for work. I’m always on the road for work and my laptop is always running out charge toward the end of the day. The fact that it is under $900 makes it pretty good value too.

I also have the same problem with my LG android phone. Are you planning to review any phones with good charge life?

    1. You are right. The Dell XPS 13 laptop does come with a good price tag and great value for money.

I will take your suggestion into consideration. Thank you for reviewing the post.

  8. For anyone who travels a lot, without access to a power point, battery life is a big consideration, the Assus NovaGo is the best.

The most economical one, with a price of less than half of the others is Assus Novago at $509.99,so for those who cannot afford to pay a lot this is a good buy.

For lightest weight the LG Gram 15 is the winner.

Of the four, my personal preference, would be the Assus NovaGo on battery life and price, as well as the touch screen and tablet configuration.

I wonder which laptop is the best taking all the technical considerations, such as speed, ram, graphics, and so on, into consideration?

    1. Taking into consideration the technical specs, out of the four reviewed, the LG Gram 15 is the more powerful of the four as it has more RAM, meaning more speed and more processing power. With graphics, they all have the same graphics power.

  9. Thank you for sharing this interesting article on Best Laptops with the Longest Battery Life. I have been using the lenovo Thinkpad T440s for a year now with the 6-cell external battery. It just keeps on going- sometimes a whole day in the office with full use (WiFi. full brightness etc.) and there’s still charge left in the evenings.I’ve even taken it camping knowing that I would get reliable use for many evenings without recharging (I don’t have a second external battery for it because one is enough! This is my experience with lenovo laptop battery.Thank you!
