  1. If one is in the market for a new laptop and on a budget, definitely worth considering a Chromebook. I can see your 2022 post offers a good balance between performance and value, and the five models highlighted are definitely worth considering.

Personally, I like  the Lenovo IdeaPad, which offers a choice between 4 or 8GB ram and up to 256GB of SSD. It’s light with a good 10 hours of battery.
The Asus Chromebook Flip  also caught my eye with its large touchscreen, fast performance, and 12 hours of battery. These 2 are great when one is on the go.
Overall, the chromebooks you suggested won’t break the bank

    • An impressive choice of Chromebooks. They really are great value for money, as they both have great features and come at an affordable price. Thank you very much for your comments.

  2. Thank you for such a well-written, informative article LG. I didn’t realize there were so many quality companies putting out the Chromebook. I currently use a five yr old MacBook Pro so you have really opened my eyes to the affordability of the Chromebook. The Samsung Chromebook seems to be right in my price range and a great value with all it offers like the fat data speeds and connectivity of both WiFi and Bluetooth. Can you tell me what if any input ports come standard on the Samsung compared with the average Chromebook? Cheers again for the fine article.

    • Thank you for your positive feedback. It’s an honor and a privilege to let people know and to help them make better choices in choosing the best laptop or Chromebook to suit their needs. The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook is a great work device. It’s good value for money and it’s great for standard daily tasks. Yes, it does include input ports. In fact, you get two USB type-C ports (one on each side), a USB type-A port, a microSD card reader, and a headphone jack. Sadly, it has no HDMI port. For an average Chromebook, you’re looking at getting a least one USB Type-C and an older USB port. Some Chromebooks may or may not include other input ports. Common ones are an HDMI, a headphone jack, or an SD card reader. So pay close attention to what input ports you are getting before you purchase a Chromebook.

  3. As someone who’s always on the lookout for budget-friendly tech solutions, I found this article to be incredibly helpful. This article provided a thorough overview of the top-budget Chromebooks available in the market, with detailed reviews of each device’s features, performance, and price. It makes it easier for anyone to compare and contrast different models and choose the one that fit their needs and budget. I love the Lenovo Idea pad. It’s lightweight, has good storage, is very sleek, and is much cheaper. The Acer Chromebook spin 713 also caught my attention. It even comes with an inbuilt speaker! Though the price is a bit on the high side, still it’s a good buy for its features.
