I’m left wondering why these batteries seem to diminish so frequently?

The more expensive and higher range the phone I have, the quicker the battery seems to degrade and it’s capacity goes down sharpish. I know overcharging a phone can lead to this wear of battery life, but is there anything else I should be looking out for to extend it’s life?

It is a sad reality. I mean we are told to not charge your phone battery to 100% as it diminishes your phone’s battery life. So getting a phone with long battery life is a good idea so you won’t have to charge them that often. Thank you for your comments.

Battery life was one of my main concern when choosing a smartphone.  It’s very frustrating when I’m out of a charger’s range and seeing my battery at 5%.  You have made a real effort here in making a list of very affordable, yet battery performing smartphones.

I am about to be in the market for a new smartphone myself and if I had to choose from your list, I totally agree with your winner.  Motorola has been around since the cell phone was invented and they are very reliable.  I remember back in the ’90s that my first cell phone was a Motorola.  I have since bought other brands, but I think it’s time I come back to the source.

I have bookmarked your site so that I can come back when it’s time to make my purchase in a couple of weeks!

    Thanks

I agree with your statement. The Motorola has been around for decades and has experience in making smartphones. Although they are not so many people good in hardware specs, it is a good idea to have another phone that can give more juice if your primary phone mid-range or high-end phone loses power. Thank you for your comments. I am sure you will make the right choice when looking for a smartphone. Take it Easy!

Thanks for sharing this on smartphone battery life. Yes battery life is really important in considering when buying a smartphone It’s interesting to know that some smartphones that I thought they have good battery life(10 hours) are not even in the list and that shows that I only know what I know. Thanks for this informative article. I am not a user of Motorola smartphone but am impressed with having 16hours life and some wonderful specifications.  I may consider buying Motorola because I really like phone with a long battery life. Thanks for sharing this article.

“Would You Like to Know Which Smartphone Has The Longest Battery Life?” This is an informative and educative article. Every smartphone owners will relate you very well with respect to the menace of batteries! Smartphones are now very popular with thousands of brands to choose from. Like you said your need should determine what you are to buy. I use my phone online 20hours a day! I cannot buy a smartphone with less than 5000mAh regardless of the other features. My wife love taking pictures with her phones so she wouldn’t touch a phone with less than 16Mp camera.
Why is Samsung not included in the list?

      Thank you for your comments.

Upon my research, I had come across the smartphones presented in the post and had discovered that only mid-range priced smartphones had longer battery life. I was too surprised that Samsung was not among them but I will continue as there are so many phones out there, even Apple smartphones could be among the longest battery life phones. If I find out info I will open up a new post and include info on more smartphones.

So look out for more posts soon on smartphones with the longest battery life.

Longer battery life is the latest marketing tactics smartphone manufacturers are using as a competitive edge. Based on past experience, without reading your post, I would say a capital NO to Motorola smartphone. However, it seems they have improved a lot based on the two Motorola phones you included in your review. I use a Sony Xperia smartphone and I can say the battery is ok, but I want something better. When next I’m changing my phone I would likely go for the Asus Fenzone  Max Pro M1. The price is okay and I like the features. I’m okay with the 10 hours battery life
